On 15 February, will see the world's biggest day of action against war. Up to 15 million people will demonstrate in more than 60 different countries as far afield as New Zealand, Filippines and Ramallah, Iceland, Canada, USA and Brasil as well as the major European capitals.
In Cyprus we will do the same. On Saturday 1.00pm we will gather for a protest at the runway in Dhekelia – half way between Pergamos checkpoint and Dhekelia Police station. From there we will march on Pyla village – about 4 km walk - and arrive at the café-restaurant PILIEUS where we will try to connect via sattelite with Trafalgar Sq. London to watch the demos taking place in various capitals.
